About Beam Bench
Installed version, build identifiers, beta status, and community links.
The About dialog identifies the Beam Bench build currently running. Copy its details when you file a bug report or compare an installed build with the release notes.
When it opens
Menu: Help → About Beam Bench....
What you see
- The app icon and Beam Bench title with a Beta badge.
- The tagline Built by makers for makers.
- The installed version.
- A short Git commit SHA and formatted build date.
- The build target triple and Rust compiler version.
- A beta warning.
- Links to the Beam Bench Facebook group and Craftgineer.
Build details load asynchronously. Until the app service responds, unavailable values can appear as unknown.
Buttons
- Copy version info: copies the version with
(beta). When build details have loaded, the copied block also includes the short SHA, build date, target triple, and Rust compiler version. - The Facebook and Craftgineer cards open those sites in the default browser.
- Close: dismisses the dialog.
The About dialog does not provide a GitHub or PrintCutCarve link. Use Help → Report a Bug... for an in-app bug report.
