Delete Duplicates
Detect and remove overlapping duplicate shapes from the selection or project.
The Delete Duplicates dialog runs duplicate-detection first, then shows you a count and lets you confirm before removing.
When it opens
Menu: Edit → Delete Duplicates (hotkey Alt+D). Beam Bench scans for duplicates and opens the dialog with the result.
What you see
- If duplicates are found: a message stating how many, with Cancel and Delete It (or Delete Them for multiple) buttons.
- If none are found: a message confirming, with a single OK button.
Notes
- The dialog is a confirmation step, not a configuration screen.
- "Duplicate" means an exact geometric match: same path data, same position, same layer. Slightly offset shapes are not detected as duplicates.
