Move both demo shapes together. Absolute Coords ignores the stored Job Origin anchor.
  1. Open absolute-start.lzrproj in Run with No Machine selected. Choose Absolute Coords under Start From.
  2. Read the ignored-Job-Origin helper and open Preview with Show Travel off. Note the tag's workspace location.
  3. Close Preview. Temporarily switch to Current Position and choose Top right. Return to Absolute Coords and Preview again. The anchor change has no effect.
  4. In Design, select both shapes. In Properties use the bottom-left reference and change X 20 to 40. Keep the 40 x 20 mm size unchanged.
  5. Clear selection and inspect Preview again. Both shapes shift 20 mm to the right, keeping the opening and outline together.
  6. Save your own copy and compare with absolute-finished.lzrproj. Go Machine Zero is a separate head-movement command.

Independent practice

Open absolute-practice.lzrproj. Choose Bottom right in Current Position, return to Absolute Coords, then select both shapes and change X 15 to 35 with the bottom-left Properties reference.

  • Keep the 30 x 16 mm tag, opening and internal spacing unchanged.
  • Save a separate copy and compare with absolute-practice-answer.lzrproj.
  • Which change actually moved the plan?
  • Does the stored Bottom right job anchor affect Absolute Coords?
  • How far did the complete practice layout shift?

Two references
Properties reference selects which point a coordinate edits. Job Origin chooses an artwork anchor for supported Start From modes.
Geometry
Moving both shapes preserves size and relative spacing. Moving only the outside outline would leave the opening behind.
