Settings, Display
App appearance, artwork display, canvas background, and wheel behavior.
Open Edit > Settings > Display. Settings here control the interface and editing canvas, not the job's power or processing mode.
App appearance and canvas background
App appearance offers System, Light, and Dark. System follows the operating system. Dark is the default.
Dark workspace background independently chooses a dark or light canvas. Changing app appearance does not change this setting, artwork colors, exports, or printing.
Antialiasing smooths vector edges. Reduce motion reduces interface animation.
Artwork display
| Mode | Canvas behavior |
|---|---|
| By Layer Operation | Line operations use outlines; fill, offset-fill, and image operations appear filled. This is the default. |
| Wireframe Override | Shows vector artwork as outlines for inspection. |
| Filled Override | Shows fillable vector artwork filled. |
These controls also appear under Window. They change how you inspect artwork; layer and sub-layer processing settings still determine output. Use Preview to verify the planned job.
Scroll wheel
Choose Zoom or Pan for the wheel's normal canvas action. Ctrl plus scrolling performs the alternate action. Zoom is the default.
Save or cancel
Click Save to apply the display draft. Cancel leaves the active display settings unchanged. These preferences apply across projects.
