Settings
App-wide preferences across four tabs: General, Units & Grid, Display, File & Import.
The Settings dialog is the home for app preferences. It is a four-tab dialog. Each tab has its own dedicated reference page since the contents are extensive.
When it opens

Tabs

Buttons
- Cancel: dismiss without changes (all edits across all tabs discarded).
- Save: persist all changes from all tabs.
Notes
- The dialog is a movable, resizable frame.
- Edits across tabs accumulate as a draft. Save commits them all atomically.
- All preference changes apply immediately on save (no restart required).
