Ellipse
Draw ellipses and circles by dragging from one corner of the bounding box to the opposite corner.
The Ellipse tool draws ellipses (or circles, with Shift). The active layer determines color and cut settings.
Activate
- Hotkey:
Ctrl+E - Toolbar: Creation Toolbar
How to use
- Click and drag on the canvas to define the ellipse's bounding box.
- Release to create.
Modifiers and interactions
- Shift + drag: constrain to a circle (equal width and height).
- Ctrl + drag: drag from the center outward.
What gets created
An Ellipse object on the active layer. Properties: width, height. (Always renders with corner_radius: 0.)
