Polygon
Draw regular polygons by dragging from center to radius. Side count comes from the active sub-tool (triangle/pentagon/hexagon/octagon).
The Polygon tool draws regular polygons. The side count depends on which sub-tool is active in the Creation Toolbar (Triangle, Pentagon, Polygon (Hexagon), Octagon).
Activate
- Hotkey: no default
- Toolbar: Creation Toolbar (separate entries for Triangle, Pentagon, Polygon, Octagon)
How to use
- Click and drag from the center of the desired polygon outward.
- Release to create.
Modifiers and interactions
- Shift + drag: constrain to square bounds (uniform aspect).
- Ctrl + drag: drag from center outward (default for this tool).
Side count by sub-tool

You can edit the side count after creation in the Shape Properties panel (minimum 3).
What gets created
A Polygon object on the active layer with:
sides: number, from the sub-tool.radius: number, half the smaller dimension of the drag bounds.
