Properties controls
Where the former Properties Toolbar controls live in version 0.2.
In version 0.2, selection transforms and active-tool options live in the Properties panel. There is no separate horizontal Properties Toolbar to find above the canvas.
Open Window > Properties or select its tab in Design's right dock.
Selection transforms
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| X / Y | Position of the selected reference point on the selection bounds. |
| Width / Height | Size in the current display unit. |
| SX / SY | Scale the selection by a percentage. |
| Aspect-ratio lock | Keep width and height proportional. New raster imports start with this locked. |
| Reference-point grid | Choose which corner, edge midpoint, or center X and Y describe. |
| Rotation | Rotate the selection in degrees. |
The reference-point choice remains selected when you deselect artwork or import another file during the current app session. It is not a preference saved across restarts.
This reference point is for editing artwork. The separate Job Origin grid in Laser Control controls placement of relative jobs on the machine.
Contextual controls
Select text to edit typography and advanced text shapes. Activate Node Edit, Measure, Radius, Tabs, or Warp to see that tool's controls in Properties. Modifier actions can also open controls there.
