Changed
- Camera detection, permission handling, device matching, frame validation, and overlay state are more reliable. The macOS build includes the camera entitlement required by the operating system.
- Camera Mapping and Camera Alignment now reject underspecified or stale data, remain previews until saved, and return to the correct saved transform when adjustment is cancelled.
- New machine profiles are saved before activation, fixing the "Profile not found" error.
- Exact raster preview geometry, including overscan, is no longer clipped to a simplified outline.
- Serial access errors show guidance for the current operating system.
- Trace Image has clearer point markers and reliable Space-drag panning.
- Adjust Image can suggest conservative tone and sharpen settings with Auto.
Camera setup note
The current camera transform supports uniform scale, rotation, and translation for a fixed camera. It does not correct lens distortion, perspective, mirroring, or a camera that moves with the laser head. See the updated Camera guide for the supported workflow.
